Location: the hotel was short walk to multiple restaurants and Minnesota and Wisconsin and Tomah. I had coffee at Mandy's Cafe & Deli, located within 5 minutes walk.

Family with children comfortable stay
The rooms were clean and quiet and I was really surprised by the helpful staff who quickly resolved a problem with my refrigerator freezing everything. The kids loved the free breakfast where they got scrambled eggs and sausage gravy, not your typical hotel fare.
It wasn't cheap but still acceptable for the quality provided.
